Cubic Zirconia Tomorrow Night

Cubic Zirconia is throwing down hard tomorrow night at Santos in celebration of the release of their new album "Fuck Work," which dropped on June 23. Led by the ever sexy siren Tiombe, the band melds tropical and futurisitc beats with an acid house vibe to make a sound all their own. The New York based band describes their creative process as an "egoless communal approach" and it shows, as their music is all about fun- something that Santa sure knows a shit load about. In addition to Cubic Zirconia, there will be DJ Sets by Dam Funk, DJ Assault, Kool Hersh, Mike 2600 & live sets by Head Automatica, Chico Mann. Oh and did we mention that there is a gonna be a 3 am open bar? Shit is gonna be bezerk! Yes thats right, the word bezerk was just used. So get here at 10 and stay for forever, because lord knows the party never dies here at Santos!

A STATE'S ASS SINS ON

The New York Post has taken a peak at SESSIONS AT SANTA'S, our experimental dance party every Tuesday night, and decided that we were one of "New York City's Hottest Parties." This week will be hosted by Hisham Bharooca and will featuring sets by The Present, Hex Message, Brian Degraw.

"...rock-meets-rave Sessions party at Santos Party House has seen performances from Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore, among others, and the cover is only $10. It's the kind of party where making out with sweaty strangers isn't uncommon, though it's always best to ask first." (BRIAN NIEMIETS, NEW YORK POST)

RSVP to sessions@santospartyhouse.com and the cover price is a measley $5. Measly as in we can't even afford to buy measles medication with this cover.

OTHER MUSIC

Sanchos Party House loves New York City's record stores. Right now we're all up on Other Music, a store that's a taste-maker in a way that's less Rolling Stone and more Willy Wonka.

ASSASSIN EATS SNOT

Thurston Moore will be curating a Sessions at Santa's weekly party on April 7th. He'll be bringing along with him some otherworldly talent from his Ecstatic Peace label, who'll be conducting the proceedings as ecstatically and peacefully as a night of utter destruction can be.

Thurston Moore/Okkyung Lee/Ikue Mori Trio
Fat Worm of Error
Noise Nomads

The folks over at STEREOGUM have interviewed Moore to find out what he's up to and what we'll be in for tomorrow night.
